Varmala preservation

The garland gets one day.
We give it forever.

Every varmala we preserve is cleaned flower by flower, dried slowly, and set in clear resin by hand. Here's exactly how it works, what it costs, and what to do with your garland after the wedding.

Book a slot — DM your date
The timeline

What happens, and when

01
Before the wedding

Hold your slot

DM us your wedding date. Wedding season fills up fast, and flowers can't sit in a queue. A held slot means we start on your garland the day it arrives.

02
Within 3–5 days after

Courier the garland

Don't refrigerate it, don't press it in a book. Put it in a breathable box (we'll send you a 2-minute packing video on DM) and courier it to our Delhi studio. Flowers reach us from all over the country.

03
Weeks 1–3

Cleaning and drying

We photograph everything on arrival, then clean and dry each flower slowly. Slow drying is the difference between petals that hold their red and petals that turn brown.

04
Weeks 3–6

Design, pour, cure

We share a layout with you before anything is poured. Resin goes on in thin layers with curing time between each. This is the part nobody can rush, including us.

05
Weeks 6–8

Polish, pack, deliver

Final cure, polish, and hand-packing. You get photos before it ships. Then it's on your wall for the next fifty years.

Honest answers

The questions everyone asks

My wedding already happened and the varmala is dry. Is it too late?
Usually not. Dried garlands can still be preserved. The colours settle deeper and darker, more antique than fresh ones, and honestly some couples prefer that look. Send us a photo of the garland on DM and we'll tell you truthfully what it will look like.
Will the flowers look exactly like they did at the wedding?
Close, but not identical — and anyone who promises identical is lying to you. Reds deepen a shade, whites turn soft cream. What you get is your actual flowers, permanently. We photograph the garland when it arrives so you can see the before and after side by side.
How much of my garland do you need?
For a full frame, the whole garland (both, if you want both sides represented). For a round frame, clock or block, even a portion works. If some of it was damaged or lost in the wedding chaos, send what survived and we design around what's there.
What does it cost?
Pieces start at ₹1,999 for a keepsake block and go up to ₹14,500 for the full tri-fold frame. The exact price depends on size and what goes in it: photo, nameplate, jewellery, wedding card. Prices for every standard piece are listed right on this page.
How do I pay?
Everything happens on Instagram DM. You confirm the piece, we take an advance to book materials, and the balance is due before dispatch. Your cart on this site turns into a DM message, so there's no payment gateway here at all.
Can you preserve kalire, chooda, or haldi flowers too?
Yes, and they're some of our favourite pieces. See the jewellery & keepsakes section of the shop, or put everything in one box when you courier the varmala and we'll design a combined piece.
